Kid's Homework Help

Sponsored by the Desert Foothills Library T.A.G. (Teen Advisory Group)

Homework Help is for children ages 8-10 which need additional assistance completing their school homework, research assignments, or projects. Homework Help meets every Thursday from 4:00-4:45. Homework Help follows the CCUSD calendar, therefore when there are breaks, vacations, or half-days, Homework Help is canceled.

Calendar 2010-2011 School Year (HH PDF)

T.A.G. members (teens ages 12+) volunteer their time to come into the Library and tutor your child weekly. They do this free of charge as they are earning Community Services hours.

Space is limited due to the amount of tutors avaliable for the school year. This is a program that runs from October-May. Please be sure that you are able to commit to the year-long schedule prior.

Students are encouraged to bring their school work into each tutoring session. The session is 45 minutes long, so additional practice work is encouraged.
